Gop’s Struggle

“You can’t escape from me!” Mr. K said to Gop. He had tried enticing her with money and slipping drugs into her drink, but nothing had worked. He wanted Gop to be his mistress, but she was a happily married Christian.

“You can’t buy me,” Gop told him. “I’m a child of God.”

But Mr. K did not give up. Next, he harassed her with a love spell. Poor Gop constantly slapped at her ear, trying to shoo away the voice that whispered his name incessantly to her.

I felt very concerned for Gop. If someone was attacking her with Satan’s power, she needed someone to intercede with God for her. So I made her a special matter of prayer.

When I saw Gop the next Sabbath, she said she had fasted that week, and she’d had a dream. In the dream, she saw Mr. K’s wife, who was a Christian and pregnant.

When Gop saw Mr. K again, she described his wife to him and scolded him on her behalf.

“How did you know about her?” he asked in amazement.

“God told me,” Gop answered simply.

This story isn’t finished, but I praise God for giving Gop timely encouragement to choose the right and resist temptation. Please pray for Gop and her family. I believe God has plans for them.
