Reconciled to God

“The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad!” (Ps. 126:3 NKJV). The long-anticipated day has arrived! Lord willing, by the time you are reading this, we will have just started the 12-week summer missionary training program at the AFM headquarters in Michigan!

The Lord has done great things for the Palawano. But if they have not yet heard about it, their condition is still as the heathen described on page 32 of The Desire of Ages: “Men were weary of pageant and fable. They longed for a religion that could satisfy the heart. . . . there were souls who were looking for light, and who were filled with perplexity and sorrow. They were thirsting for a knowledge of the living God, for some assurance of a life beyond the grave.”

By God’s grace, soon we can tell the Palawano that Jesus “loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood” (Rev. 1:5). Soon God can “beseech . . . [the Palawano] by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Cor. 5:20, 21).

“By us:” that includes you! God uses your prayers and mission offerings to enable us to be mouthpieces for Him so the Palawano can hear His loving, passionate, urgent appeal, “Be ye reconciled to God.” We praise and thank God for you.
