“What someone has done before is usually the best indicator of what will happen next time. The best predictor of the future is the past . . . Trust cannot be given only on a promise. We need objective reasons to have hope and trust.”
(From the book “Trust” by Dr. Henry Cloud)

We have been serving unreached people groups in Asia for over 15 years. In that time, I have seen God consistently show up every day. I have heard His voice when I was discouraged and ready to give up, spurring me on. I have seen how He guided us to people who needed us and guided them to us when we were in need. I have felt His presence in joy and in suffering, so I know I am never alone.

I have also been impressed at how Tonya has always risen to meet new challenges. Through forced evacuations, major transitions in ministry, growing as a mother and a wife, and creating resources to help children and families know God in multiple languages and cultures, Tonya has been forged in the fire and proven her strength time and again.

We have also been blessed with local ministry partners over the years, like Teacher Ming in Thailand. Working with children and families who have experienced profound physical and emotional wounds is not easy. Yet, Teacher Ming always does what is necessary to prepare herself to meet the needs of those she serves and lead them to Jesus.

We can never forget that all the good work we have accomplished would not have been possible without the dedication of our ministry support team around the world. Through all kinds of hardship, our supporters have stayed committed to us and to the work. Their trust in us fuels our fire to bring healing and hope in Jesus to those around us.

As we look to the future, we also have hope because we know that we have the faithful support of God and our family and friends around the world. We invite you to join our team and invest in helping us reach the Isan Thai people of Thailand for Jesus. You can trust that it is an excellent investment.
