Treasure Buckets

“You are a wealthy man indeed!” We could see David Hick’s eyes sparkle over Skype. “Twenty-one five-gallon buckets. What a treasure those will be in the jungle.”

Each time David and Edie travel from the jungle into town, we eagerly look forward to talking to them over Skype, learning what is happening in the village, and getting practical advice about what to pack.

David explained that good quality buckets, although useful for ordinary things such as storing food and clothing in an airtight manner, are much sought after for carrying anything in the village. Vegetables, water, tools, soil, stones—anything can easily be carried in a bucket.
We are eager to join David and Edie in the jungles, with not only our earthly treasure of five-gallon buckets, but with heavenly treasure in the message of salvation as well.

Amen!  May God send you with plenty of five-gallon buckets, and even more faith buckets!  Praying with you always!
