Witness in All Things

Since coming to Southeast Asia in September of 2010, I have learned so much about the power of God to reach His people.

My language helper is very special to me. We have been friends for about six months, and I have learned a lot about her life. One thing I really love about her is that, through her trials—whether it be lack of money or not enough work—she is happy. I talk to her a lot about God. I remember once when I was learning to read the local language, I wasn’t reading as well as I usually do, so she stopped me and said, “Let’s pray.” Ah! I was so happy. We prayed together, and since then, she has been showing signs of loving God more and more.

God has shown me that wherever I go and whomever I meet my life, I must witness. I’ve learned that even buying food and clothes or getting a motorbike fixed can be a witness of God’s love through me.

Please pray that my influence will lead Tai-Kadai people to Jesus Christ, the only one who can give them what they need.—
