The Call
OC/PG-05 Health/English Teacher – Workers needed: Another unit, preferably a couple, is needed to join a family already serving among the Gogodala. Someone with health education skills, English language/literacy skills, marriage/parenting skills, possibly even building skills would be helpful.
The People
The Gogodala are a tribe of approximately 25,000, located in 33 villages in Papua New Guinea. The lives of the Gogodala revolve around the spirits and they live in constant fear of offending them.
The Project
Another missionary family, who could come along side the current family teaching and mentoring the people, would be a blessing to the Gogodala. To learn more, view the project page for Gogodala
