But What of God?

There are literally millions and millions of people who, for their entire lives of suffering, have never heard of the love of God, the plan of salvation, or even of Jesus Christ. It is their right to receive knowledge of God and to call upon His mercy. We who have been so blessed to experience the grace of Christ and enjoy a relationship with the Savior have the opportunity and the responsibility to answer their heart cries.

We say we want to help, but we are becoming numb. We are bombarded by reports of violence, suffering and hopelessness. We change the channel to something more pleasant and entertaining and decide we can’t do anything about it anyway.

But what of God? Have you considered the horrific pain God experiences as He looks upon our world in its steady march toward self-destruction? Violence in the cities; violence in the home; violence in the womb. God feels it all.

God has given us the opportunity to cooperate with Him to hasten the end of all this pain and suffering. “This Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matt. 24:14).

The coming of Jesus will bring an end to this death march of sin. He offers everyone hope, healing and eternal life. Yet still so many have never heard this incredible, amazing, wonderful good news. Christ’s command to His followers is: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).

Together we can hasten the end of sin and misery—for humanity and for God. Heed His command to go to the unreached. We will help you. Please contact us at service@afmonline.org or 800-937-4236.
