Why We are Here

Wiggling little bodies move around on bright blue chairs, straining in the dim light to see the pictures the speaker holds up. The story grips their attention—of Adam and Eve and the fall of humanity; of a Redeemer born to save them from their sins; of heaven and the beautiful place God is making for them. Many of the students are hearing these stories for the first time. As I watch, my heart is bursting with joy. So much time, prayer, effort and resources have gone into starting this school in Mondulkiri. But looking at the eager faces straining to hear the Word of God during our week of prayer made me think to myself, “This is why we are here.”

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support.
