Your gift goes twice as far for this special project!

Funds raised will be used in conjunction with a matching $25,000 grant in order to provide a suitable office facility for AFM SAT’s operations in South Africa.

The AFM SAT office in Dundee, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, remains unfinished. A local pledge of $50,000 to complete the accommodation unit did not come in when the donor went down with prostate cancer. Office funds were spent on the accommodation unit, in anticipation of this pledged income coming in, and then the pledge did not materialize. A donor in Atlanta, GA, has pledged a 100% match for all funds that come in to complete the AFM SAT office. The total costs of the project are $50,000. The Special Project budget is for $25,000, and matching donations can be made in January-March 2019 alone. The narrow window for providing donations is necessary to ensure that the construction work can completed before the S African winter in 2019.
