AFM Response to COVID-19 Virus

AFM Home Office Temporary Operations

The AFM office building is open for walk-ins during remodeling; however, our office staff will continue to work from home until construction is complete.

AFM joins with our community in gratitude to God for the steady reduction in COVID-19 cases and deaths in our community. Praise God! As of 6/22/2021, the State of Michigan has removed the specific COVID-19 regulations that related to office operations such as those that AFM conducts in Berrien Springs, MI. AFM is taking the opportunity provided by the pandemic to explore office remodeling options, and while the main AFM Berrien Springs office will be open, AFM personnel will continue to work efficiently and effectively from home.

AFM COVID-19 Notice

Because the COVID-19 outbreak affects certain areas of the world more than others, AFM is maintaining constant vigilance. We are monitoring all our mission projects and staff members and tailoring our response moment by moment to minimize risk of AFM personnel contracting COVID-19 and of becoming vectors for the spread of the virus within vulnerable communities.

We are seeking to act in a responsible manner that upholds Matthew 7:12, the Golden Rule, and; therefore, we work within the guidelines of each country to which we send missionaries.

We welcome your prayers for our missionaries, our staff, and the unreached communities we serve. We are praying for God to bring healing to the sick and to stop the further spread of COVID-19. To maintain security for our projects in sensitive areas, we will not be able to answer specific questions about these projects.

“But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you” (Psalm 5:11).
