This month, when you turn past page 29, you might think our printer got confused about which way is up. Don’t be alarmed, it’s just our fourth annual Adventist Frontiers kids’ edition! We had it printed upside-down so it could have its own cover, and just because flipping things is fun.
As a father of four kids, I know for a fact that flipping things is lots of fun. My kids love to flip Lego boxes, matchbox cars, couch cushions and the occasional bowl of cereal (accidentally, they assure me). Whenever I flip one of them upside down, I’m always rewarded with giggles.
So this month we’re focusing on our AFM missionary kids who are busy turning things upside down in their far-off corners of the world. With their joy, dynamism and unabashed friendliness, they play an important part in their families’ ministry, breaking down barriers of distrust and opening people’s hearts in ways their parents cannot. I pray their stories will inspire kids everywhere with ideas of how to turn the world upside-down for their Savior.
