Short-term missionary for 2026, serving the Hill Tribes Project of Cambodia.

Born in Maine and raised there for most of my life, I greatly appreciate experiencing the four seasons, which provide me with a sense of time and change found throughout God’s creation.

I have a culinary arts degree, and my hobbies include cooking, gardening, traveling, and, above all, reading God’s Word. After hearing God’s call and accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior, I was baptized on August 24, 2024. After my baptism, the Holy Spirit burned within me, and I wanted to serve Him but did not know how. After six months of much prayer, one day, as I was talking with my mother, she said, “Why don’t you apply to become a missionary? You’re single with no kids or debt. You’re free to do God’s work!”

Our family subscribes to and reads the AFM magazine every month. So that night, I prayed and felt led to apply to AFM. God is so good. Four months later, I was accepted as a short-term missionary. God then led me to apply to study to become a medical missionary. May God bless my local church; they voted to pay my tuition in full!

I thank my church family, friends and family for all their prayers. God is always by my side, pointing me to where He wants me to be. One of my favorite verses is John 15:5, which says, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
