Miriam has been serving for the past few years as a missionary with an urban ministry in Pennsylvania. Now she is excited for the opportunity to share the gospel in an area that is largely unreached. She will be serving as a short term missionary in Thailand and is thankful for all your prayers and donations.

This has been an exciting month, as things have moved from mainly planning and praying to getting started with English classes. I could sense God’s providence leading, as prior to this, any class I tried to start got rescheduled.

Lessons from Training
During this break as I prepare to leave for Thailand, I have had time to reflect back on my experience in training with Adventist Frontier Missions (AFM). There are many aspects that stand out but a few that impacted me most are learning about grit/perseverance, investment, and intentionality.
