Chris grew up dreaming of becoming a doctor and bringing healing to people. While he was studying hard toward his lifelong dream, God called him to the ministry of healing souls instead. Not without a fight and after spending a lot of time in prayer, Chris changed the focus of his studies to Theology and then dedicated his life to spreading the gospel.
Anne grew up in a mission-oriented family. She also had a dream: a normal, stable life, unlike the one she experienced as a missionary child. She never felt the call to long-term ministry until she experienced God at work in her own life during the ministry she shared with Chris. After participating in a lot of projects involving children, she is now delighted to raise and love two little miracles of her own, Evan and Emily.
Chrisn and Anne worked on two projects in unreached areas of Romania and Ukraine and have been blessed to gain a new perspective on mission amid the challenges of a very traditional, Orthodox, ex-communist culture. At the same time, they got in touch with AFM and had the pleasure of sharing a project for a few years before they started to consider making foreign missions their career. After they prayed and experienced God at work again, they happily answered the call to the Georgia project, being impressed by the needs of this country of 4 million people where the Seventh-day Adventist presence is only five thousandths of one percent. Sharing a similar background with the Georgian people, they are committed to meet their needs and introduce them to their Savior, Jesus Christ, in a way they never heard of Him before.

The Heavenly Supra
I sometimes wonder what the Heavenly Supra will be like and how many of our Georgian friends we will reacquaint ourselves with there. It is the invitation we dearly wish to pass on. Please pray that many of them will say yes!

The Lost Wallet
As I dried out our two pairs of shoes, I couldn’t help but smile. Yes, that wallet did mean trouble. But I was glad to have gone through it. After all, wasn’t that what I had prayed for?

The Angel Next Door
My only prayer is that I will get to bring her salt when she needs some and that I am ready to be the salt when the time comes. Please join us in prayer for Louise and her precious family!

The Gratitude Jar
It is time for the “Make me a blessing” stage. As we explore ways to do that and seek to discover the needs around us, will you join us in this sincere prayer for the people of Georgia?

A Big Call for Small People
Then it occurs to me: we may feel small, helpless, overwhelmed or inadequate, but we can always be a blessing to someone. And in our Heavenly Father’s eyes, no one is too insignificant to be worthy of blessing.
