Kerigma was born in Angola to an Adventist mother. As a teenager, she moved to South Africa and later to the United Kingdom. Her worldview took shape through the foundational teachings of God instilled by her mother. However, it wasn’t until her own wilderness experience that she encountered God in a profound way.
Driven by a deep-seated desire to share the love she yearned for as a child, Kerigma felt an intrinsic sense of purpose beyond self-service.
Despite facing mental health battles and societal challenges, Kerigma found that her faith became the anchor that steadied her. In moments of despair, she discovered hope in the One who made and sustains her.
Kerigma’s commitment to turning personal adversity into uplifting others led her to Humanitarian Engineering, where she addressed global challenges. However, her soul yearned for more. It was during GYC Europe that she discovered AFM Europe, and the call for mission answered her prayers.
Choosing to leave behind societal expectations, Kerigma decided to follow Christ’s call and become a worker with Him. Embarking on a missionary journey to Japan, she carries lessons learned from diverse traditions, personal struggles, and deliverance by God. Kerigma’s story stands as a testament to the belief that amid uncertainty, a purpose waits to be fulfilled.
