I was born and raised in Missouri, the heart of the USA. Growing up, I always read about the missionaries teaching the gospel to natives in faraway countries. I never thought I would be one of those missionaries. When I reached high school, our family moved to Oklahoma, where I attended Oklahoma Academy. This school was mission-focused. I joined the Mission Aviation Program but got disinterested after learning that I wouldn’t be using many of the skills I would learn in that program. Instead, I switched to Auto Mechanics. I got plenty of experience because things break frequently at the school. My graduating class of eight people decided to give a year or more of their lives to serving God in the mission field. I am going to Palawan, where I can serve in my Mother’s country.
