“I think we can do the device for only the cost of materials.”

Mouths open in amazement, Neil and I stared at the orthodontist’s receptionist. We had been referred to this particular orthodontist after a routine dental check-up showed a potential problem with our son Clayton’s tooth, or rather lack of a tooth. A specialized spacing device would be required, and Neil and I were concerned that it would be quite expensive.

“So,” she continued, “It looks like the cost for everything will be $60.” Neil and I looked at each other, our eyes conveying our astonishment and relief. God continues to take care of us!

Thanks so much for your prayers on behalf of our family and our friends in Mali. We plan to return to Mali when the political situation stabilizes. We ask for your continued prayers for a resolution of the conflict there. —Holly Lovitt
