It’s been nearly two months since our beautiful trip to Nuuk, Greenland when we trusted the Lord to identify a ministry facility. After looking at six apartments, the real estate agent, as a side comment, mentioned that she also had a house available. She knew it was outside our budget, but asked if we were interested in seeing it.
As we stood inside the sixth apartment, she beckoned us to look out the window towards the fjord. There we saw a beautiful building, the house she had mentioned. We were able to tour it the following day. Thus far, the Lord has led, enabling the house to become the Greenland Ministry Facility, a dream to come true. God has surely provided more than we asked.
This facility will be extremely useful, not only to house us but also because its location is strategically located within walking distance of the city, enabling us to meet people, be involved in community activities and invite people for fellowship. We are praying for the souls to whom the Lord will lead us.
As you may know, the weather in Nuuk will mostly be cold and snowy. Our minds go to the song “A Shelter in the Time of Storm.” While we were in Nuuk, we experienced a little bit of the changes in weather while walking outdoors. Storms are not foreigners there. They can come in at any time. We pray that this ministry facility will not only be a shelter from the stormy weather but that those who enter will be led to know the Shelter available through all the storms of life.
As the strong winds blow and the snow particles rise, may the wind of the Holy Spirit blow even stronger, leading them to find freedom from sin found only through Jesus Christ, the One who forgives our sins and makes us as white as snow. Thank you for your support.
