Bake at 350˚

Logistics: “the careful organization of a complicated activity so that it happens in a successful and effective way” — Cambridge Dictionary.

A few short weeks ago, we felt like Moses on the wrong side of the Red Sea. No matter how we parsed our situation, human logistics fell short in getting us to training. And yet here we are in Berrien Springs, Michigan, at the AFM training center! The first week of instruction is behind us. Only eleven more to go! God answers prayer. He is able to do “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV).

Now we face a new challenge — launching. Several unspoken realities stand between us and our launch to Thailand in January or February 2022. Add to this the unknowns of changing COVID-19 restrictions and political unrest. Mix in the challenges of uprooting and packing. Blend in the fact that we are still short of our monthly pledge goal and bake at 350˚! We have a recipe that — no matter which direction we turn or how we scratch our heads — we cannot figure out how all the details fit in place. The logistics do not work.

That is not a problem with God. He has already proved to be a master logistician. He brought us to training despite what we thought were insurmountable obstacles. He will also take us to Thailand. Our job is to pray, trust and follow His opening providences. Please join us in praying for God to clear the way for our launch.
