As we look back over 2012, we have a lot to be thankful for.
Our newest daughter, Petra, was born quickly and healthy on November 20.
The money we needed for a project vehicle came in quicker than we had dared to hope, thanks to generous gifts from many of you.
Our little weekly training program with local church members has already begun to bear fruit. Participants are practicing what they learn and sharing it with other church members. One of those attending has even started a new group of people meeting and worshipping each Sabbath.
Although we have been battling illness, we are thankful that, overall, we are in good health more often than not, and the frequency and severity of our sicknesses seem to be diminishing.
Most of all, we are thankful for what Jesus is doing in Benin and around the world. He is finishing the work He started so long ago. Soon we will see Him coming in the clouds. For that, we are utterly thankful.
One day, we will get to know our fellow missionary John Lello better. We are thankful that he gave his life in the service of Jesus, and we look forward to meeting him after the resurrection of the righteous. We can all thank God for this hope.
