“Do you remember this story, or would you like me to read it again?” I asked as I highlighted a few points.

“I’ve forgotten,” Kaak said.

It had been four months since I had studied with Kaak. I had a hard time believing she had completely forgotten the story. “Okay, do you remember the first story, or should I read that one, too?” I asked.

“Read that one again, too,” she said. “Then Chumpri can learn it as well.” Daniel and Chumpri were sitting nearby talking. “Let them finish talking, and then we can hear the important words from Chief God.”

I smiled to myself. Kaak hadn’t forgotten the stories. She just wanted Chumpri to hear them now that he has chosen to learn about Chief God, too!
