Thirty-four states in three months! That’s how our furlough has been so far. We have traveled from sea to shining sea. We have seen the Golden Gate Bridge and the White House. We have hugged giant sequoias and dipped our toes in the ocean. We’ve gazed across the vast expanse of the Grand Canyon and been awed by its immensity.
Along the way, we have been blessed to spend time with family, friends and supporters all around this country and share about the work in Thailand. It has been a whirlwind of activity and busyness mixed with many blessings and times of refreshing.
We miss Thailand. We miss our home and our neighbors. We miss the markets and our favorite vendors. We miss Pastor Wanlop and the church grandmas. We miss Ta Ta and Tang Tang, Beat and Bell, Borrow, Better and all the other neighborhood children.
We are ready to get back to work and really learn the hearts of the Thai people around us in Khon Kaen. We are ready to return with renewed strength and purpose. We are eager to see how the Holy Spirit will move in the lives of our neighbors as we pray and minister among them.
