A friend recently told me this story: “Since I am going to school, I can’t work to support myself, so I rely on others for money to buy food. One time, I had only about $4 in my pocket, and it had to last a long time. I ate about 60 cents worth of food each morning, and God made it sit in my stomach all day long. I didn’t get hungry. When the money eventually ran out, I trusted in God’s promises and didn’t say anything to anyone. God provided for me each day by prompting someone to invite me to eat with their family. He didn’t promise I would have lots but that he would provide for my needs each day.”
Don’t we serve a wonderful God? He promises to supply all our needs, and He has certainly done so for me. Praise Him with me!
