“I love you too, Daddy.”
It’s hard to explain the feeling that washed over me when I heard Justus say these words to me for the first time. But, in the darkness, as I laid my son down in his bed to sleep, I knew that I would do anything and sacrifice everything to be a father who is worthy of that love.
I believe that God is always working to show His love to the unreached. I’ve seen Him passionately, patiently pursuing His missing children, proving that He is a God who is more than worthy of our love. I can only begin to imagine what He must feel when He hears one of His sons or daughters say for the first time, “I love you too, Daddy.”
In July, I visited the believers in Darjeeling, India. On the Sabbath I was there, we had a baptism service, and two people joined their lives to Christ. Since we left India, Pastor Naresh and the church members have continued to reach out to the people of Darjeeling. Please continue to pray that many more of God’s children in Darjeeling will one day come to say, “I love you too, Daddy.”
