Light for Him

One small candle. It’s amazing how one little flame can pierce the darkness. Sitting in a darkened room completely void of light and then striking a match creates such a transformation.

Jesus realized how important light was and spoke much about it. He spoke of Himself as The Light, but He also called His followers lights. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Matt. 5:14-16).

Among the Northern Khmer people, there is still much darkness. The darkness of fear and hopelessness continues to envelope many people who feel they are trapped in a never-ending cycle that is inescapable. We pray that we will be lights to these people. We pray our lives will shine Christ’s light into the shadows that keep many Northern Khmer in darkness.

Please pray with us that many more Northern Khmer will come out of the darkness and move into the light of Christ’s love and salvation. Please consider joining our monthly support team and help us pierce this darkness and reach the Northern Khmer with the light of Christ’s love
