“Kaia! the woman declared matter-of-factly, pointing at our daughter in the car.
This was not a woman we have seen often. We were stopped at a busy Natitingou bus stop where we have stopped twice before to buy avocado sandwiches for the trip to Cotonou. It had been almost two months since we were there the last time, and I dont think we got out of the car that time, since there were no avocados available then. So, it had been over three months since we had stopped long enough for the kids to get out of the car, and the woman must have asked the name of the baby we were carrying around.
I thought to myself, How could she remember a name so well? I had heard of the phenomenal skill many people here have of remembering names, but this was my first exposure to it.
Our prayer is that in the future, more and more people will see us and remember a Namethe very special Name of Somebody who knows them very well and wants them to know Him, too.
