Do you like Bible games? Did you ever win a prize? Recently our church organized a Bible game based on
1 and 2 Samuel. Our foster son Ignace participated and would like to share his experience:
“I did not want to participate at first because I thought I would not have enough time to study the chapters and would fail the test. But then Auntie Uli suggested we read the chapters together for family worship, and she gave some explanations.
“To study for the test was difficult because of all the strange names in the book. I had a hard time memorizing them. But then most of the questions were quite easy. What I did not like was that they had us write on little blackboards, like in first grade. And they did not give us much time to think either.
“But in the end, I was fifth out of 18 participants. I won some prizes and was very happy. It was a good experience to read the Bible like that. I had not done that before. And now I know all the stories from 1 and 2 Samuel by heart. I am really thankful and proud that I had the opportunity to be part of the game.”
