We have so many praises to share with you! First of all, we praise Jesus for leading us in a mighty way this past year. A lot has happened in our lives and on our project. Through it all, God has kept us safe and protected us in so many ways.

After being forced to leave our project due to political instability, we were privileged to assist at two other AFM projects. During these last six months we have laughed, and we have cried. We were builders, bus drivers, teachers, chefs, vets, parents and friends to wonderful missionaries. We praise God for the lifelong friendships we made and feel so honored to have helped.

We also were on furlough in the States and met many of our wonderful donors. It was such a huge blessing to finally put faces to the voices we knew from phone calls.

One of the miracles God sent us was a green four-cylinder Honda Accord. We were very worried about how we would transport ourselves to our many donor-ministry appointments in the States. When we arrived at the AFM office, word got around that we were looking for a car, and lo and behold, God provided our “Lamborgreeny” as we named it. The faithful little car never gave us any problems during our 10,000 miles of travel.

The long-awaited day came at last, and we launched back into the wonderful world of Mesopotamia. We were welcomed by the wonderful smells and familiar sounds of our large city. Immediately we realized how much we had missed the Mesopotamian people. We had to find a new place to stay and also re-apply for our residency. We thank God for leading us to our new home, helping us with our residency application and also giving us our own car.

We are so privileged to be here. Every day, we see how much our people need the loving peace and saving grace of Isa al Massi. We also see how Satan is trying his best to stop the good work from happening in this part of the world. Please pray for the people of Mesopotamia.
