The Cambodian school-year cycle, starting in November and going through July, is a bit different from what we are used to. Since we have a private school, we can follow a slightly different schedule and start in October. Our school year is well under way, and we’re off to a great start! This year we added a grade, so now are a K-3 school with 59 students. As the year progresses, we expect that number to grow. Several more Pnong students have enrolled this year and the contacts are opening doors for evangelism in the village. It is exciting to finally see this happen.

One problem we’re facing is that our current school building is quickly getting too small. This is the last year we will be able to hold classes in this facility. In order to prepare for this school year we had to put up walls for a new classroom and an office. We are praising God that our school infrastructure fundraising goal has been met! Thank you to each of you who helped make this possible. Now we are working to get things ready for the construction of a new school building. We hope to start the first phase of the building project in early 2016. Please keep this major project in your prayers.
