The Great River People are one of the largest minority groups within their South East Asian country. Though poorer than their fellow countrymen, these industrious people contribute significantly to the local economy through metal working, fishing, and cultivating rice, Cassava and Soy beans. Despite their hard work they face significant challenges including diseases associated with lack of nutrition and hygiene. Their religion leaves them empty and fearful of the future beyond the grave. Only Christ’s method of reaching people can touch the hearts of these people wallowing in darkness. Please pray with us that they will respond to His light!
