Our family is in the process of leaving, visiting our friends for the last time before AFM training and making plans to stay in touch with family. Our suitcases are lined up, and our girls have carefully tucked in their favorite dolls, special pictures and beloved books. We are already missing home as we prepare to move to training and to our mission beyond.

Yet we move forward with purpose and hope. Jesus gave up everything in order that we might have eternal life. And He calls each of us to follow in His steps, promising that our sacrifice will be more than worth it in the end.

“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life” (Matt. 19:29).

Thank you for the sacrifices you make for the sake of heavenly treasure. Thank you for your faithful donations to send our family to the Sinim people. Thank you to our family and friends for sacrificing your time with us as we attend AFM training and prepare to live with the Sinim. Please continue to pray for us as we leave home, possessions and loved ones. Pray that our hearts will be invested in heaven and that we can lead Sinim hearts to do the same.
