Teen Hearts

“How can we become missionaries?” the students asked.

During our recent trip to Kenya, we had a great time with hundreds of teenagers at a local school. After sharing our testimonies and singing together, many students approached us to learn how they could become missionaries in the Lord’s vineyard. We were blessed by our opportunity to meet these young people.

Soon after we arrived back in Copenhagen, Denmark, we received a list of names and phone numbers for 178 teens, each of whom we have added to our prayer journals.

These students were a blessing as we are preparing to meet the young people of Greenland, whose hearts are breaking and who are resorting to suicide. Greenland has the highest suicide rates in the world, with the majority committed by teenagers. We look forward to meeting these teens who desire something greater than they currently know: teens looking for places to find peace. May the Prince of Peace become present in their hearts and lives. Please consider praying for the teens in Greenland, Kenya and your sphere of influence.

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28).
