Before I was married, I volunteered and spent six years as a soldier. There was a camaraderie among the soldiers. We were all “in it together.” We drilled together, ate together, slept together, and understood that one day we might die together — a sobering reality.
In some ways, 2020 was like a war cry for Christendom. Many saw eschatological events come into sharp focus when governments worldwide passed laws restricting travel and assemblage. Censorship, mandates, and an overt media bias triggered by a worldwide pandemic caused many to think “the end” was here.
When nearly all of our peers are sighting in on retirement, Cindy and I are volunteering to serve as career missionaries among Native Americans. Why? Simple. We are fanatics. We actually believe the end is near and Jesus’ mandate to preach, teach, and make disciples, recorded in Matthew 28:18-20, is binding. We cannot think of anything more significant to do.
On August 30, 2021, bootcamp began for us at AFM’s Summer Institute of Frontier Missions and will end in November. At that time, we will relocate to northeastern Montana and begin advocating for Jesus.
Is it really fanatical to want to share the Gospel? Is it fanatical to commit to years away from home to answer the call of Jesus and join the battle for souls?
Join us. We need your help. We need laborers, prayer warriors and monthly supporters. Become a fanatic, too!
