Your Role in the Body

Many individuals might think, The small gift I’m giving, how can it be important in the wider plan of salvation? Yet, the reality is that these smaller gifts fund 85-90 percent of AFM’s annual budget. Like the Body of Christ, each of us has a part to play in moving the gospel forward.

Whether missionaries, donors, home office support staff, or prayer warriors, we all work together in this battle to bring the gospel to the unreached. Missionaries are the front-line ambassadors, wooing and interacting with souls unaware of their mortal peril. Donors with gifts small and great may be unseen, yet like Caleb and Joshua, who held up the arms of Moses, they lift the missionaries up before God so the battle is not lost. AFM’s office staff work tirelessly to keep the wheels of this cosmic war turning. Although prayer warriors might consider themselves “the least of these,” each mission is the story of answered prayers, opening the windows of heaven and releasing mighty angels to assist in the fight. No matter what role we play in winning the lost to Christ, AFM would be greatly hampered in reaching these lost souls without you, your gifts, your prayers and your encouragement. It would be like running without legs.

God’s love is an all-encompassing part of this battle for the unreached. It has been said that love is the most powerful force on earth. This is true because God is love. Will you help us partner with God, allowing His love to draw these lost souls into the ultimate victory? Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow and eternity are ours to win or lose. Whatever your role in the body of Christ, labor with all your might.

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister“ (Hebrews 6:10 KJV).
