Kyle Tumberg serves as Director of Recruitment Director at AFM.

Previously, he and his wife served as Career Missionaries with the Central Thai Buddhists of Thailand, launching there in 2012.

Tumberg’s journey to missions started long before his mission service with AFM. When he became aware of the incredible needs of the unreached world, for the first time in his life he had an inkling that God might be calling him to go. While actively involved in a church-planting project in Arkadelphia, AR, he eventually began contemplating long-term mission service. In 2009, about four months after he married, he decided to apply with Adventist Frontier Missions. In the spring of 2011, after a week of fasting and prayer, he surrendered fully to the Lord and told Him that he and his family were willing to go wherever God might send them, and that they would go as far forward as He led.
