Saving Grace
by Jacob Bridger
My Father’s grace, I know, is neverending.
My cup is never empty.
He fills it day by day.
And there are times I may be feeling helpless, confused and often restless.
I want to run away.
Run from this heart that’s always doubting.
Run from this heart that’s full of fear.
Run alone to fall upon Your saving grace.
You’re saving grace.
Upon my face.
In Him, we live and move and have our being,
Receiving daily blessings of which we don’t deserve.
At times, I think of how our love can conquer the sins this world is under.
It makes me want to run.
Run to the heart that never changes.
Run to the arms that are always near.
Running, Lord, to fall upon Your saving grace.
You’re saving grace.
Upon my face.
Run to the heart that never changes.
Run to the arms that are always near.
Running, Lord, to fall upon Your saving grace.
You’re saving grace.
Upon my face.
