The Tai-Kadai project needs a vehicle to support the outreach activities of the Murphy family. These include transport of people to and from meetings, to hospitals and clinics for the sick, to gather supplies needed for the project, to provide safe travel through the city streets, and to support any other outreach activities for this project.

Southeast Asia
The Tai-Kadai are Buddhist, but they are also heavily influenced by animism. They believe in "guardian spirits" and "locality spirits," which are identified with different levels of society.
AFM has ministered to the Tai-Kadai people since July 2001.
