I am a Christian, a mother and a nurse, and I live in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. I currently have the privilege of serving as a missionary with the Geba project in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa. I came to know the Seventh-day Adventist Church through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Since then, I have experienced God’s leading throughout my faith journey, becoming involved in various church ministries and short-term mission experiences.
Over time, God began to strengthen His call to cross-cultural mission in my heart and led me to serve beyond the boundaries of my own culture. In His providence, a publication from Adventist Frontier Missions (AFM) was the instrument He used to guide me on this missionary journey. Even amid challenges and obstacles, I experienced the Lord’s faithfulness as He opened the way for me to complete my fundraising and receive an unpaid leave from my position in public service with the Paraná state government. Throughout this process, He also cared for my daughters, allowing them to continue their paths of study and work, showing once again that all things happen in His perfect timing.
Today, I am serving in the mission field, available to be used as God leads, equips and reveals the way. I desire to share the Word and the love of Jesus through relationships, service and ministry, placing my life at His disposal to advance His Kingdom. My prayer continues to be the response of Isaiah to God’s call: “Here I am, send me” (Isaiah 6:8).
