Jared grew up in Central Washington, just a short drive from the forested Cascade Mountains to the west and the sagebrush desert to the east. He enjoys tutoring and teaching English, and even more, sharing about the Bible. After spending several years as a counselor at a youth Bible camp, Jared realized that service to God is the most fulfilling thing he’s ever done and felt God’s call to be a missionary. Jared is an ordinary Christian, with an extraordinary God, and his greatest passion is sharing the love He’s found in God with the world.
