Vernal Roseval

Short-term missionary since 2023, serving the Kono people of Sierra Leone.

Hello! I’m Vernal Roseval, a graduate of Hartland College with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Elementary Education.

Currently serving as a short-term missionary with Adventist Frontier Missions, I spent seven transformative months in Guinea, Africa. There, I had the privilege of helping to establish a Bible club for teens in an Adventist school, an endeavor particularly impactful in a community where about 90 percent of the population is Muslim. This experience allowed me to apply my education in a practical setting and deepened my understanding of cultural dynamics and the power of faith-based education.

This journey has solidified my dedication to educational outreach and cross-cultural exchange. I will now serve in Sierra Leone for my next mission year. I will be helping the team with the Bible club and teaching some classes. I am eager for the new challenges and opportunities ahead, striving to positively impact lives through education and foster spiritual growth within the communities I am privileged to serve.
