Featuring John & Belinda Kent
Iwam Project, May River Station, Papua New Guinea
DVD — Released 2007
Feature: This amazing story relates how God used two AFM missionary families to raise up an Adventist Church in a remote jungle outpost in Papua New Ginea. The half-hour documentary looks at the challenges AFM missionaries faced while taking the gospel to the Iwam people. May River is situated more than 180 miles from electricity, telephones, and medical facilities. In spite of the extreme location, the Kent and Lackey families faithfully shared Christ with this primitive tribe.
Today, the project continues to face difficulties because of its remote setting. Find out what AFM is doing to support the Iwam Adventists. The May River Story is an account of Gods faithfulness and love for all His children. This DVD will be a great addition to your library and is ideal for vespers programs, Sabbath Schools, schools, and more. [29 minutes]
Extras: Life in PNG, A Tribute, Personal Testimonies, The Cost, and The Rescue. [36 minutes]
